Blurb (from Goodreads):

College freshman Liv is more than just a fangirl: The Starveil movies are her life… So, when her favorite character, Captain Matt Spartan, is killed off at the end of the last movie, Liv Just. Can’t. Deal.

Tired of sitting in her room sobbing, Liv decides to launch an online campaign to bring her beloved hero back to life. With the help of her best friend, Xander, actor and steampunk cosplayer extraordinaire, she creates #SpartanSurvived, a campaign to ignite the fandom. But as her online life succeeds beyond her wildest dreams, Liv is forced to balance that with the pressures of school, her mother’s disapproval, and her (mostly nonexistent and entirely traumatic) romantic life. A trip to DragonCon with Xander might be exactly what she needs to figure out what she really wants.

This was a fun book to read and it was definitely a bit different but I liked it. The characters were pretty good which kept me interested from the start.

Liv loves Starviel. Those movies are her life. She loves talking about them, reading fanfics about them and vidding her favourite characters. But when her favourite character dies at the end of the fifth movie, she along with the whole fandom is devastated. She comes up with a crazy plan of bringing her favourite character back  and launches an online campaign under the hastag #SpartanSurvived but she decides to anonymous. But her actual life is mess. Will she be able to handle all at once? What will happens when her secret comes out?

I liked the plot! We all are invested in some kind of fandoms and similarly when somebody else comes up and tells us we are wasting our time, we do not take that likely nor we do stay okay when our favourite character dies. Liv was pretty similar like that, so it was easy  to connect with her character. I liked that she was passionate about her fandom and she enjoyed making vids about them. She was just like one of us.

Xander, Liv’s best friend was pretty fun too and he was a bisexual so yay for diversity! I loved his character, he was supporting and caring and even listened to Liv’s continuous blabbering when he didn’t like Starviel much but one thing about him really irritated me- he called Liv  “dearest” all the time, it was just… sounded weird. Other than this fact I loved their friendship. Another aspect of the book which I liked was the text and chat conversations throughout the book which was really fun to read.

Overall,  All the Feels is a good and quick read. The plot was interesting, although the pace was a bit slow at first and I enjoyed the 2nd part of the book a lot more than the first part. The writing was smooth and easy to read and I enjoyed the ride.

Recommend it?

Yes.
