Blurb (from Goodreads):
London Wright thought she’d been in love before, but she hadn’t—not even close.
Then she met him.
Rugged and gorgeous, Loïc Berkeley, a special forces soldier is everything she’s ever wanted. Getting him to notice her was a challenge, but keeping his love is proving to be more difficult.
London’s used to getting what she wants so loving someone like Loïc is a humbling and somewhat terrifying experience. For everything she has in her life, he’s the one thing she can’t bear to lose.
Loïc Berkeley never wanted love. He views it as an unneeded distraction that causes nothing but pain. Love, for Loïc, always ends in disappointment.
Then he met her.
Spoiled, witty, and breathtakingly beautiful London Wright is his undoing. From the moment he laid eyes on her, he knew his life would never be the same. Though he tries to fight it, he finds himself falling for her.
Having lived a life full of sorrow, finding London brought Loïc rare happiness. Though his feelings for her are strong, is what they have powerful enough to break the cycle of his past?
When one is destined for heartbreak and loss, can love really change anything?
First of all, the cover is gorgeous!! Nonetheless this book was definitely not what I had expected. That doesn’t mean that I didn’t like it, believe me I did but there were some things that I couldn’t enjoy wholeheartedly which resulted in the 3 star rating.
London always gets whats she wants. Then she meets Loic who changes that. Both of them can’t deny the chemistry between them as they find themselves falling for each other, fast. Loic had a pretty rough past, that’s why he runs from commitment but London is firm enough to hold on to whatever there’s between them. Can Loic actually fall in love when he believes it always end it disappointments?
The starting of this book was pretty strong. We are given flashbacks of Loic’s childhood which made it possible to understand his past better. But what I most liked was London’s no nonsense attitude. In most of the books, it’s the guy chasing the girl but here it was the opposite which I quite enjoyed and I liked London’s positive nature, she never gave up on Loic. But his constantly changing hot and cold nature really irritated me. I mean I get it, you had a pretty shitty past but that doesn’t mean you aren’t going to give your life a second chance. Nonetheless, I liked their chemistry and the romance was pretty good.
As I already said, London was a pretty great character. I did like Loic but not totally. He did start trying his best from the second half the book but I need more because he didn’t manage to convince me. I hope I get to see that I the second book. All the other minor characters were pretty great as well, I especially liked Paige, London’s best friend. But I really don’t know what I feel about Sarah, I liked that Loic was reunited with her but when you’re hugging and kissing another girl in front of your girlfriend, she’s bound to feel insecure and after that what happened didn’t sit well with me. Well, I think we’ll definitely get to see more about this in book 2.
Overall, I have a mixture of different feelings about Finding London. The plot was interesting and I liked the characters. The writing was smooth and easy to read. There were some dialogues that I really liked. The pace was even throughout the book. When I first finished reading it, I was honestly confused if I wanted to continue this series or not but now I think I’ll definitely give book 2 a try!
Recommend it?

Ohh great review! I really like the cover of that book, and I think it’d be a nice light read. It’s too bad you didn’t love all of the characters, though.
