Interview

First of all, welcome to my little blog!

1. How did you come up with the idea for the Lovely Vicious series?

I decided I wanted to write a comedy romance YA, since I couldn’t find one I liked!

2. How do you develop your plots and characters?

I let my characters have free reign on the plot – it really helps to move it along, considering my characters are usually so off the wall.

3. What was the hardest thing to write in Forget Me Always?

Oh gosh, the final scene was super hard. Don’t tell anyone, but I cried for about a week after it.

(I totally get it!)

4. Do you have any unique or quirky writing habits?

I LOVE to write on post-it notes and stick them on my desk to remind myself to write certain parts in, or fact-check certain things.

5. What was your favorite chapter (or part) to write and why?

My favorite chapter was the one where Isis and Jack meet again, outside of the hospital and back in school. I just love seeing them together in that setting so much!!! Their banter is my favorite thing to right possibly ever.

6. Give us an interesting fun fact about your book.

It only took me a month to write!

7. What is your advice for aspiring writers?

Keep reading. The more you read, the better you get at words, I promise.
