The NY Times Book Tag!

Thaaaank you so much IceBreaker 694 for tagging me for The NY Times Book Tag! I had so much fun doing this tag. Don’t forget to check out her blog guys. Now, without further ado…

What is on your nightstand right now?

22844202

Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince by J.K. Rowling.

What was the last truly great book you read?

Bully

Bully by Penelope Douglas was a phenomenal read!! It had the perfect amount of everything I love. Review coming soon!

If you could meet any writer – dead or alive – who would it be? And what would you want to know?

Amie Kaufman and Jay Kristoff, the authors of The Illuminae Files. I would absolutely love to ask them how they created the awesome universe in this series.

What books might we be surprised to find on your shelf?

23513349

Maybe Milk and Honey by Rupi Kaur? I am slowly venturing into poetry. This would be my second read after The Princess Saves Herself in this One by Amanda Lovelace.

How do you organize your personal library?

Eh, I kinda do this the opposite way. From tallest to the smallest. I know. I’m weird. ❤

What book have you always meant to read and haven’t gotten around to yet?

Winner's curse

The Winner’s trilogy by Marie Rutkoski. I have the first two books in this series but I kinda never started this. But I intend to finish all the pending books in this year that I already have in my home. At least the physical copies.

Disappointing, overrated, just not good: what book did you feel you are supposed to like but didn’t?

A Thousand Letters

I thought A Thousand Letters by Staci Hart was going to be heartwrenching, instead, it turned out to be dull and boring.

What kind of stories are you drawn to? Any you stay clear of?

I absolutely LOVE fantasy and contemporary! I don’t enjoy erotica, at all. Honestly, I felt pretty bored reading the latter, it’s so not for me.

If you could require the president to read one book, what would it be?

Simon vs

Maybe Simon vs. the Homo Sapiens Agenda
by Becky Albertalli.

What do you plan to read next?

A Quiet kind of Thunder Everything everything

I am kind of conflicted between these two. HAAALP!!

I tag:

(And as usual guys, you don’t have to do this tag if you’ve already done it or simply don’t want to. And if you do, don’t forget to link me back!)

Lets Chat

So guys, do we have any books in common? Is any of the above-mentioned books in your tbr?

  4. Loved reading your answers! Bully is one of my favorite reads and I’m so glad that you loved it as well! Amie and Jay are great authors and I would definitely love to meet them too! The winner’s trilogy is in my tbr and I’m hoping to binge read it someday in the future. Everything, Everything is a great book and I really hope you enjoy it. 🙂

    • Thanks Raven!
Bully was seriously sooo good. I need more books like that in my life, it kinda had a similar vibe to Punk 57 which was just as awesome.
Maybe we can binge the Winner’s trilogy sometimes together? It would be fun! 🙂
      I hope so too!

      • Me too! I’m sucker for hate to love romances and they’re executed so well in Bully and Punk 57! If I ever find books similar to these two, I’ll definitely recommend them to you. Oh, that would be awesome! I have yet to buy the final book in the series but anyways, I would inform you when I’m finally ready to start the series. Hope you have a great day! 🙂

Me too! I need to buy the 3rd book as well. Anyway, I’m looking forward to binge read with you. 🙂
