Nancy loves surfing just like her mother. After her death, she faded away from her family. One day, while surfing, she finds herself stuck in the feeding ground of a great white shark. It becomes her ultimate challenge to reach the shore with her life intact. I watched this a few weeks ago with my mother and damn this was an awesome movie. I was on the edge from the very start and there were definitely nail-biting moments. The visuals were amazing and I absolutely loved how Blake Lively portrayed her character.

Recommend it?

First of all, don’t roll your eyes, mister! Power Rangers will always have a special place in my heart. Anyway, my brother and I had planned to see this movie together since the trailer came out and I was so giddy when it was finally released in our country and we had a blast.

Jason, Kimberly, Billy, Zack, and Trini are all outcasts. After a particular incident, they discover a strange new world under the mine where they learn they are destined to be the Power Rangers to save the world from the power hungry Rita.

This movie focused a lot on the friendship than the actual action which came up way later on. I kind of liked that though I wished they had morphed a little earlier. When they learned that the stones had chosen them and they were to be the Power Rangers, their reluctance to take such a huge responsibility made them more realistic. And yay for diversity when Zack finally discovers Trini is gay but there was kind of obvious chemistry between them. Nonetheless, I loved how all of them bonded together to finally defeat Rita and when they finally morphed, it gave me goosebumps, I felt like I was back in standard 5 when I as a huge Power Ranger fan. The morphing in this movie was a new concept which I definitely favoured more than how they usually did it. Overall, it was a funtastic movie.

For Dr. Stephen Strange, his hands are everything with which he performs miracle surgeries one after another. But after a horrific car accident which renders him helpless, he seeks help in the mystic arts.

I had a lot of expectations from this movie but in the end, I was disappointed. There were definitely great moments but it didn’t manage to surpass my expectations. After an accident which damages the nerve tissues of his hands, he goes to Katmandu, Nepal to learn how to overcome his difficulties. There he meets the Ancient One who teaches him how to harness his inner powers to beat his problems. Sometimes, things got a little complicated to understand, other times it was enjoyable. Strange’s cape was pretty amusing and I hope we get to learn a bit more about it in the sequel. I liked the ultimate battle between Dormammu, the ruler of the dark planet and Dr. Strange and albeit it was a bit funny as well. But it was kind of weird to see Mordo going evil because he didn’t agree with the Ancient One’s and Strange’s rule.

The ending with Thor surprised me and I guess we have to wait to know what happens next (if there’s a next).

I was not originally going to review this movie but then again, why the hell not. Anyway, this was one of the best 3D movies I have ever seen and I loved it so freaking much.

Newt comes to New York in search of a particular magical beast but he ends up accidentally swapping his suitcase full of magical creatures with aspiring baker Jacob Kowalski which ends up with some of the creatures escaping. He is taken in by Tina who is a part of “magical police” who takes them to their home where Queenie, her sister is present. Together, they set on an adventure to capture all the creatures but something far more dangerous may be brewing underneath.

This movie was such a blast. I was hooked right from the start and there was not a single dull moment. I loved Newt, seriously who wouldn’t fall for that guy! He cared for the beasts like his own children and that was an adorable sight. I enjoyed his adventure alongside Jacob, Tina, and Queenie so much. Each of the characters were unique in their own way. One of the most interesting aspects of this movie was the obscurus, and how finally we could link it to Ariana (Dumbledore’s sister), I can’t wait to learn more about it. I hated how Graves treated Credence and I never saw the twist coming, I was so sure what it was going to be but then it hit us on the face! We also finally got a glimpse of the infamous Grindelwald and I am sooo eager to see how it all goes down!

This was the best animated movie I have ever seen in my entire life!! Moana longs for a life out in the seas but her father forbids her to go near the water as he wants her to take responsibility as the next leader of their clan. But something is happening to the forest, all the trees and dying and there are no fish anymore. She knows she has to restore the heart of Te fiti to make everything okay again but she can’t do that without the help of the Demigod Maui who nobody has seen for hundreds of years.

This movie was so epic! I laughed and cried and I felt I was in a grand adventure alongside Moana. Her ability to not give up gave me so much hope. Maui was a character I didn’t know what to think of at first but slowly he crept up to my heart. I enjoyed the backstory of the Maui and Moana’s tribe. When Moana finally finds Maui, with much reluctance, he set sails on the course with Moana to restore Te fiti’s heart but not without facing enormous difficulties on the way. I loved Moana’s affinity with the water and how it helped her whenever she was in trouble. The lava monster was the most difficult hurdle on their way, it was also the one which nearly cost Maui his life so many years ago but I never saw the twist coming! It was so freaking good and I was in tears and the ending left me satisfied. The songs in the movie were extraordinarily good, I enjoyed them so much.

I saw this just yesterday and it was such an adorable movie. Felicie and Victor are best friends and together they run away from their orphanage to Paris to make their dreams come true. Felicie wants to be a renowned ballerina whereas Victor dreams of being the greatest inventor on this planet.

There is a thing about animated movies, they manage to fill you with hope every single time and this movie was no different. I enjoyed it so much. Felicie dreams of becoming a dancer and when she discovers ballet, she knows what she wants to become. Though she takes refuge to lies but I understood under what condition she had to do so and she was genuinely sorry for that as well. One thing that I didn’t like about Felicie was that how she put aside Victor’s feelings, it was pretty clear from the start that Victor liked her and Felicie was aware of that somewhat, yet she still treated him like crap. I was happy to see her finally come to her senses and I loved the relationship which she developed with Odette, the mysterious caretaker, who took her under her wings. Also, I don’t remember if I have ever seen a dance face-off in animated movies before and on top of that a ballet face-off, it was pretty awesome!
