Fall TV Shows: The Ones I’m Desperately Waiting For || Scrambled Thoughts

Hiya guys! Since Game of Thrones (season 7) and Shadowhunters (season 2) ended, I have been pretty much binge-watching k-dramas which has been a refreshing change and plus I watch a drama which has been already completed, no there’s no waiting when the next episode will be out, which is kind of a relief! Plus I looove k-dramas. So there’s that.

I watched Playful Kiss which I didn’t enjoy much but Goblin, on the other hand, is freaking fantastic. One moment I can’t keep my laughter in control and the next I am a sobbing mess! I am really loving it though I only have the last 2 episodes left and I’ll probably be finishing it by today or tomorrow.

But there are also shows that I have been desperately waiting for them to return for a loooooong time. Here’s my little list!

1. Supergirl (October 9th): Season 3

I started watching Supergirl after finishing The Flash because I still needed some superhero or here you can say superheroine fix in my life and I ended up loving this one!

I loved Melissa Benoist as Kara Danvers, a.k.a Supergirl. She was pretty awesome and I loved how she was the perfect combination of awkward and super awesome! Her journey as Supergirl felt realistic as she struggled to be the superhero everyone wanted, making mistakes and learning along the way but never giving up. The sub-story line with Lena Luthor was pretty interesting and I loved the episodes where Superman and Supergirl teamed up together! Season 2 introduced us to Mon-El and I loved this character growth throughout the season. I fell in love with Chris Wood when he first appeared in The Vampire Diaries as the psychotic villain (*don’t look at me with those judgy little eyes, you guys did too, don’t you dare disagree!*). But anyway, it didn’t take long for things to get out of hand and I was felt sooo sad during the ending. I sooo need to know what happened to Mon-El!

*Spoilery* Also, I don’t think it’s the end for Mon-El because Mon-El looked quite freaked out (along with me) while going into the worm hole thingy!!*End of Spoiler*

 2. The Flash (October 10th): Season 4

This show was recommended by my friend who’s pretty obsessed over The Flash. So yup, I had to watch it and it’s pretty hard not to fall in love with Grant Gustin. He is an adorable cute ball of mesh!

I binged watched all the 3 seasons. Season 1 was kind of the intro, everything was pretty new and awesome. Barry’s backstory was heartbreaking and his love for Irish which was adorable and cute. I kinda looooved his awkwardness at particular times and I absolutely adored his friendship with Felicity. Tom Cavanagh did a fantastic job as Dr. Harrison Wells and I loved the rest of the team members, Cisco and Caitlin. But season 2 was kinda boring though it definitely had its moments but Zoom failed to impress me. But Tom Felton was there so yaaayie! Season 3 picked up my interest again but the same speedster main villains were getting boring quickly and I am thankful that season 4 will have something new in store for us. Savitar as a villain was kinda not bad but it wasn’t super awesome either but I loved how everything was executed in the end!! My most favourite episode included the fight with Grodd! It was kinda awesome though! 😀 The final episode of season 3 was fantastic, especially the build up was great but I really need to know how things are gonna proceed after that cliffeeeee!

*Spoilery* I was not satisfied with the new Harrison Wells from the other Earth. I complained it to my friend and he said to wait and watch. And damn, I was sooo wrong. He ended up being my favourite character and how he sacrificed himself, in the end, had me down to a sobbing mess! *End of Spoiler*

3. Riverdale (October 11th): Season 2

This show is not my most awaited but I watched season 1 in August and it was a quick watch and my childhood crush is on the show, so yeah I plan to watch the next season! I wasn’t a big Archie comic fan as a kid but this show was pretty hyped up when it came out and I was in the mood for some high school drama and season 1 only had 13 episodes, so I gave it a try.

The first thing I noticed about this show was that the cast was suuuuper pretty. I loved the characters but my favourite was Jughead followed by Veronica then Betty. Sadly, I didn’t care much for Archie. The murder mystery added spice to the show but I kind of guessed who the murderer was! I thought it was a pretty easy guess though I didn’t think about the actual reason and that twist was pretty awesome though terribly weird. Anyway, Cheryl Blossom, the twin sister of the murdered was the most intriguing character of the show, she was sooo creepy yet at vulnerable times. She gave me the chills (actually Taylor Swift’s Look What You Made Me Do reminded me of her)!!

I loved the friendship aspect of this how and how despite everything they always had each other’s back. The romance wasn’t thaaat awesome but I enjoyed the chemistry between both the pairs. The show started off strong but then slagged off in the middle but the ending was pretty intriguing which piqued up my interest. I reeeeally hope season 2 is more dark and interesting. Hopefully, it’ll be that way considering how it ended on a cliffhanger!

4. Supernatural (October 12th): Season 13

MY. THE MOST. AWAITED SHOW. FREAKING. EVER!!!!!

I saved the best for the last (and also because it was perfectly in order according to the date). You guys know how much I am obsessed with Supernatural. I am totally biased about this show and I won’t hear a mean thingy about it. I need my Winchester fix so badly and I have been waiting for soooo long for this season after binge watching the whole thing the 2nd time.

I mean, they have gone through so much and always stuck together in the end. I envy the Winchesters who always have their back for each other no matter what. Now, season 12 was not my most favourite season. After fighting ghosts, demons, angels, werewolves, leviathans, being in Heaven, Hell and Purgatory, they had to face the British Men of Letters. They had to face freaking human beings! But it also kinda showed that humans can be the most dangerous monsters of all times! And what was up with Cass!!! Also, Lucifer kinda crossed his limits, one moment he was acting like a spoiled brat and the next he’s plotting world domination and aah, I guess that’s okay for that guy being the king of Hell and all that but I loved Crowley! But still, everything got out of hand. And I miss Bobby. And the ENDING!!!! It killed me! We are finally going to find out how my precious Winchesters are going to bring things back on track. As usual. ❤

*Spoilery* I was not super happy with Mary returning, especially how she treated her boys after everything!! I know, it was a lot of her to take in but still. Dude! Those are your sons!! Also, I am sad Mark A. Sheppard is not coming back to take over his role as Crowley. In the end, his loyalty to the Winchesters killed him, though it was his choice. Anyway, the other thing was the spawn of Satan!!! Aaaahhhh!!!! What is freaking going to happen next?!!! *End of Spoiler*

Soooo guys, do you watch any of the above-mentioned shows? If yes, which ones? Any favourites from my list? And if your favourite is not here, then what are yours?

Please feel free to gush about your favourite tv shows and don’t forget to recommend me more awesome shows to watch in the future!!
