Blurb (from Goodreads):

In the multi-verse people may look familiar, but no one is who they seem.

In a small town in Montana, Sophie lives with her quantum physicist mother, and her equally brilliant, but dangerously obsessed, step-father.

Her father disappeared years ago under mysterious circumstances, but Sophie is still haunted by memories of him that seem so real she swears she feels his presence one night as she drifts off to sleep.

Realizing that somehow her missing father is trying to send her a message, Sophie decides to take a big risk.

With her friend, Eli, Sophie must discover what strange experiment her father did and understand the startling impact it has on her world and another, just across the membrane dividing the multi-verse.

My Thoughts

I was attracted to this book because of the cover, it’s so unique and beautiful and the blurb definitely added to that interest, I enjoyed the ride.

Sophie’s father was a famous physicist before he disappeared from the face of Earth. Her mother rarely gives her any time and she is stuck with her obsessive step-father. When Sophie begins to feel that her father is trying to communicate with her, new hope starts building within her. Will she be able to save her father or will she end up putting herself into greater risk?

The plot was pretty enjoyable. I liked the concept of the multi-verse and how things were executed. Sophie wants to get away from her house as far as possible, away from her step father who appears obsessive and slightly dangerous. She misses her father very much who disappeared a long time ago, no one ever found out what actually happened to him. So when Sophie begins to see and hear things, she knows her father needs help.

The things that kept happening definitely piqued my interest. Eli is the only one she trusted. I liked the relationship between them and I definitely enjoyed the romance though I wish I could have seen more of the other two important characters as well. Also, I would have enjoyed this book a lot more if there was a bit more world-building which I found lacking. The ending left a lot of things to the reader’s imagination but I sooo wanted to know what happened next.

Overall, Membrane was a good read. The plot was executed neatly and I liked the characters though I would have liked more flavour to the characters but the plot was definitely enjoyable. It was a pretty quick read and I finished it in one setting. The writing was simple and smooth and the pace was even throughout the book.

Recommend it?

Yes.

Blurb (from Goodreads):

Life or death?
It all seems to be the same for Grace…

Some of us have been there before — falling for the hot, popular jock who just so happens to be dating the hot, popular girl in school.

Your snarky-but-always-right bestie insists you make a move, but you’re not so much into putting yourself out there.

Then it happens, and suddenly you find yourself eating a cat on your neighbor’s porch.

No? Never happened to you?

Well, Grace Watkins can’t say the same. Her hunger is growing with each day that passes and her urges are getting harder to control.
No one can explain why her body is changing, except one man.

PicsArt_1443945753901

This book was definitely intriguing. But some parts were gross, like flesh eating gross. But as a zombie book, it was pretty well done!

Grace is just like another teenage girl but her appetite is growing everyday which is turning out to be way beyond her control. She realises something is extremely wrong with her as one day she eats a cat out of sheer hunger. And then a horrific chain of events begin. Only one man has the answers to all her questions and he might be able to able to help her. But whatever he is saying, is it even true? Or is Grace falling into more danger than she already was?

This book was zombishly good! Honestly, I don’t think I have ever read a zombie book before so this was definitely a different experience. Grace’s hunger is increasing day by day and she can’t control it anymore. She kills a living cat and eats it which is basically ew but nonetheless she is horrified. But after that a few more incidents happen before she understands the full depth of her situation. The narrative is pretty interesting from start which kept me glued to book. Although the first portion of this book was a bit slow but the pace picked up soon enough.

Grace was a pretty interesting yet normal character, I liked her from the start.  Tristen was a nice character but I don’t know, he was perhaps a bit too nice, I mean if I eat someone I think the other person will probably run in the other direction rather than saving my life! But he stayed through. I do have another theory about him but I’m not gonna say anything as it might spoil a little bit of the story. Dr. Robinson, whom Graces’s mom trusted so much seemed fishy to me as well. I can’t wait to see what happens in the next book as the ending of this book was an interesting one which left me wanting for more.

Overall, Turning Grace was a good read. The plot was interesting from the beginning and the characters were good enough. The writing was pretty smooth. I hope I’m able to read the next book soon enough as I can’t wait to know what happens next!

Recommend it?

Yes.

Blurb (from Goodreads):

In this pitch-perfect novel from the author of When Joss Met Matt (“One of those books that make you forget everything around you.”—Sophie Jordan), a rock ’n’ roll diva must choose between her career and her heart.

After getting kicked out of her own band—by her own boyfriend—Presley Mason finds herself back in Wisconsin, helping her parents run their renowned music store. Instead of belting out powerhouse vocals to sold-out crowds in L.A., she’s stocking shelves and inspecting rental violins. But the shop isn’t all bad: When she’s vacuuming up late one night, she bumps into the guitar teacher with the smoldering amber eyes and the killer tattoo. And that’s when things take an interesting turn.

Presley soon finds that Paul Kellerman is as good in bed as he is on guitar. So why isn’t he stoked to share his band, Jukebox Bleu, with her? Turns out Paul has crippling stage fright, which he’s been self-medicating without much success. But when Jukebox Bleu’s lead singer gets called for military service, the other members beg Presley to front them. Even though she swore never to mix men with music again, the temptation to perform is almost as intense as her chemistry with Paul. Now Presley must decide what’s more important: a second chance at love . . . or rock stardom.

PicsArt_1443945753901

This is the second book I read by Ellie Cahill after Call Me, MaybeThis was a fun and lighthearted read which I enjoyed but there were a few factors which stopped me from enjoying it fully.

Presley is a famous rockstar but after getting kicked out of her own band and by her own boyfriend, she returns to her native town, to her ever fun loving parents. There she meets Paul at her parents’s music store where he teaches guitar. Both of them are instantly attracted to each other but Paul is in a band and Presley swore to herself that she would never she involved with a musician again and then she gets offered to be a part of the band when their lead singer goes away. Would she be able to handle everything once again or will she mess it up before everything begins?

The plot was pretty good but it could have executed in a much better way. One thing bothered me from the start was that when Presley got kicked out of her own band, why didn’t she take any legal action or state the truth to everybody? I don’t know… this thing is not even explained. Other than this, I liked Presley but her parents were super cool, I loved how everything was with them. Presley tried to stay away from singing as well after that incident but I liked how Paul managed to make her fall in love with music once again. The relationship between Presley and Paul was kind of insta-attraction, I would have liked more if they had taken a bit more time to know each other before jumping each other’s bones.

I liked Presley as a character but I couldn’t understand some of her decisions, like the first one I mentioned in the above paragraph. Another one was totally stupid when she decided to break up with Paul when she decided she was going to join their band, she didn’t even give a thought about his decision which was a pretty crappy thing to do. I liked Paul but he had some serious anxiety issues, I was glad when he finally decided to get help. All the other characters were pretty fun and I liked all of them.

Overall, Just a Girl was an okay read. I enjoyed some aspects of this book and some I didn’t. The characters were okay and I had a little difficulty in connecting with them. Nonetheless, I liked the romance between Paul and Presley. The writing was easy to read and the pace was even throughout the book.

Recommend it?

Yes.

Blurb (from Goodreads):

London Wright thought she’d been in love before, but she hadn’t—not even close.

Then she met him.

Rugged and gorgeous, Loïc Berkeley, a special forces soldier is everything she’s ever wanted. Getting him to notice her was a challenge, but keeping his love is proving to be more difficult.

London’s used to getting what she wants so loving someone like Loïc is a humbling and somewhat terrifying experience. For everything she has in her life, he’s the one thing she can’t bear to lose.

Loïc Berkeley never wanted love. He views it as an unneeded distraction that causes nothing but pain. Love, for Loïc, always ends in disappointment.

Then he met her.

Spoiled, witty, and breathtakingly beautiful London Wright is his undoing. From the moment he laid eyes on her, he knew his life would never be the same. Though he tries to fight it, he finds himself falling for her.

Having lived a life full of sorrow, finding London brought Loïc rare happiness. Though his feelings for her are strong, is what they have powerful enough to break the cycle of his past?

When one is destined for heartbreak and loss, can love really change anything?

PicsArt_1443945753901

First of all, the cover is gorgeous!! Nonetheless this book was definitely not what I had expected. That doesn’t mean that I didn’t like it, believe me I did but there were some things that I couldn’t enjoy wholeheartedly which resulted in the 3 star rating.

London always gets whats she wants. Then she meets Loic who changes that. Both of them can’t deny the chemistry between them as they find themselves falling for each other, fast. Loic had a pretty rough past, that’s why he runs from commitment but London is firm enough to hold on to whatever there’s between them. Can Loic actually fall in love when he believes it always end it disappointments?

The starting of this book was pretty strong. We are given flashbacks of Loic’s childhood which made it possible to understand his past better. But what I most liked was London’s no nonsense attitude. In most of the books, it’s the guy chasing the girl but here it was the opposite which I quite enjoyed and I liked London’s positive nature, she never gave up on Loic. But his constantly changing hot and cold nature really irritated me. I mean I get it, you had a pretty shitty past but that doesn’t mean you aren’t going to give your life a second chance. Nonetheless, I liked their chemistry and the romance was pretty good.

As I already said, London was a pretty great character. I did like Loic but not totally. He did start trying his best from the second half the book but I need more because he didn’t manage to convince me. I hope I get to see that I the second book. All the other minor characters were pretty great as well, I especially liked Paige, London’s best friend. But I really don’t know what I feel about Sarah, I liked that Loic was reunited with her but when  you’re hugging and kissing another girl in front of your girlfriend, she’s bound to feel insecure and after that what happened didn’t sit well with me. Well, I think we’ll definitely get to see more about this in book 2.

Overall, I have a mixture of different feelings about Finding LondonThe plot was interesting and I liked the characters. The writing was smooth and easy to read. There were some dialogues that I really liked. The pace was even throughout the book. When I first finished reading it, I was honestly confused if I wanted to continue this series or not but now I think I’ll definitely give book 2 a try!

Recommend it?

Yes.

Blurb (from Goodreads):

College freshman Liv is more than just a fangirl: The Starveil movies are her life… So, when her favorite character, Captain Matt Spartan, is killed off at the end of the last movie, Liv Just. Can’t. Deal.

Tired of sitting in her room sobbing, Liv decides to launch an online campaign to bring her beloved hero back to life. With the help of her best friend, Xander, actor and steampunk cosplayer extraordinaire, she creates #SpartanSurvived, a campaign to ignite the fandom. But as her online life succeeds beyond her wildest dreams, Liv is forced to balance that with the pressures of school, her mother’s disapproval, and her (mostly nonexistent and entirely traumatic) romantic life. A trip to DragonCon with Xander might be exactly what she needs to figure out what she really wants.

PicsArt_1443945753901

This was a fun book to read and it was definitely a bit different but I liked it. The characters were pretty good which kept me interested from the start.

Liv loves Starviel. Those movies are her life. She loves talking about them, reading fanfics about them and vidding her favourite characters. But when her favourite character dies at the end of the fifth movie, she along with the whole fandom is devastated. She comes up with a crazy plan of bringing her favourite character back  and launches an online campaign under the hastag #SpartanSurvived but she decides to anonymous. But her actual life is mess. Will she be able to handle all at once? What will happens when her secret comes out?

I liked the plot! We all are invested in some kind of fandoms and similarly when somebody else comes up and tells us we are wasting our time, we do not take that likely nor we do stay okay when our favourite character dies. Liv was pretty similar like that, so it was easy  to connect with her character. I liked that she was passionate about her fandom and she enjoyed making vids about them. She was just like one of us.

Xander, Liv’s best friend was pretty fun too and he was a bisexual so yay for diversity! I loved his character, he was supporting and caring and even listened to Liv’s continuous blabbering when he didn’t like Starviel much but one thing about him really irritated me- he called Liv  “dearest” all the time, it was just… sounded weird. Other than this fact I loved their friendship. Another aspect of the book which I liked was the text and chat conversations throughout the book which was really fun to read.

Overall,  All the Feels is a good and quick read. The plot was interesting, although the pace was a bit slow at first and I enjoyed the 2nd part of the book a lot more than the first part. The writing was smooth and easy to read and I enjoyed the ride.

Recommend it?

Yes.

Blurb (from Goodreads):

Willow Monroe and Kennedy Danes have been best friends since drawings were assignments in school. They’ve been joined at the hip for years. They love riding bikes together, smiling for real, and laughing, even at the wrong times.

Once their senior year of high school rolls around, Kennedy becomes terminally ill. Though he has plans that don’t involve sadness, he still needs to find a way to tell Willow he only has six more months to live.

Willow and Kennedy can never say the word ‘goodbye’.They have this agreement to say Hello up until their last time spent together. The sixteenth of August in the year of 1997 is when Willow and Kennedy say Hello for the last time.

Nine years later finds Willow in the smallest hospital of Chicago, working as a registered nurse. There she meets Wyatt Blanquette, a curmudgeonly patient with untapped wisdom and heart, beneath a stony exterior. When they agree to be nice to each other instead of abundantly rude, Wyatt eventually shows the fact that he sees a light in Willow that cannot burn out. Everything changes once Wyatt reveals to Willow his heart-wrenching secret.

Willow’s thoughts bicker, and she has to determine whether she should suppress the feelings she’s afraid of reliving, or to let them be seen- with her heart wide open.

PicsArt_1443945753901

Our Last Time was a different kind of read but I definitely liked it. I loved the relationship between the characters and how everything was executed.

Willow and Kennedy has been best friends since forever. But as their time for graduation comes around, Kennedy’s cancer comes back which leaves both of them heartbroken. They promised never to say goodbye to each other, so they finally say hello on 16th August, 1997. Nine years later, Willow is working as a nurse in a small hospital in Chicago where she meets Wyatt Blanquette, a patient who loves to test her patience. As they finally form a truce, they both can’t deny the chemistry between them but when Wyatt reveals his secret, can they go forward together or will history repeat itself?

I liked the manner in which the story was narrated. The chapters alternated between Willow’s present life and her past. I loved Willow and Kennedy together, they were best friends and had eyes only for each other. They spend every waking moment together and when Kennedy revealed that his illness had come back, it broke their hearts but they somehow managed to pull through but Willow never found someone who could truly make her happy like Kennedy until she met Wyatt.

I pretty much liked all the characters in the book. Kennedy was a sweetheart and Willow was a nice character as well. As much as I loved them together, I felt the chemistry was lacking between Willow and Wyatt. We got to see the beginning of their relationship but I would have liked if we actually got to see more of it, especially how Wyatt becomes a part of Willow and her daughter’s life.

Overall, Our Last Time was a nice read. The plot was executed neatly and I liked the characters. Though I liked the romance between Willow and Wyatt, I was not hundred percent convinced. Nonetheless, I have to say I enjoyed the ride. The writing was simple and smooth and the pace was even throughout the book.

Yes.

Blurb (from Goodreads):

Disclaimer: This Entangled Teen Crush book contains a kickass heroine, a boy so hot he’ll make you shiver, and a falling-in-love story fit for the big screen. You’ll want to settle in and have the popcorn ready.

After Mariely Hinojosa and Cabot Wheeler both break up with their significant others at the same party, Mariely sees a way to get even with both of their exes. Everyone knows that the best way to get over a breakup is a hookup— a fake hookup, that is. Three weeks, all fun, no strings, and definitely no heartbreak at the end.

But somewhere between the sweet hand-holding and melt-your-mind kisses, their fake relationship starts to feel less like an act and more like the real thing…but Mariely’s a free-spirited girl from the other side of the tracks, and Cabot’s the hot trust-fund guy from the Hills.

They’d never work for real…

PicsArt_1443945753901

This book was fairly pretty interesting and I liked how everything unfolded, I especially loved Cabot’s character. Though despite everything I just felt a tini-tiny thing was missing, I couldn’t exactly identify what it was but nonetheless I hope that little bit of doubt will vanish when I read the next book in this series.

This book was about Mariely and Cabot. They both learn a horrific (well… sort of) truth about their respective partners in one of Cabot’s party. But when Cabot’s ex-girlfriend causes more trouble, Mariely comes up with a plan which Cabot spices up into something more- a fake dating plan to keep both the parties jelous and at bay as well and they would go their separate ways after the school dance. But what happens when their fauxmance begins to turn into something more?

Sooo… this was utterly cute! I absolutely loved the idea of fake dating and how the author handled everything. Mariely was a relatable character, she was sweet, caring yet vulnerable. She was really hurt when she found the truth about her boyfriend, well any girl would be. Despite that fact she handled everything maturely, though fake dating was something of a bit extreme but I loved how she did not purposely hurt his ex-boyfriend because the reason was umm… a bit different and slowly but steadily she accepted the truth.

Cabot… he was a pretty awesome guy. I loved how straight forward he was. I mean usually both the parties don’t let the other know about their true feelings and they are miserable but I loved how Cabot confessed how he felt about her. It was really something! I liked their chemistry but as I previously said I felt there was just something missing which I could not exactly figure out. Willa is Mariely’s BFF. I absolutely adored her. I loved her in How Willa Got Her Groove Back and I was so exited to see her here and what a great friend she was! Yes, she was a bit worried about the whole fake dating thing but I loved how she let Mariely handle everything and just stood by her side no matter what.

Overall, Crazy, Stupid, Fauxmance was a light and fun hearted read. The writing was simple and easy to read and the pace was even throughout the book. Although we get a temporary HEA in this book but I’m so exited to read what happens next in their life. I bet there will be plenty of new trouble and what not. Cannot wait to find out!

Recommend it?

Blurb(from Goodreads):

Dan Garrett has become exactly what he hates— popular. Until recently, he was just another live-action role-playing nerd on the lowest rung of the social ladder. Cue a massive growth spurt and an uncanny skill at taking three-point shots in basketball and voilà…Mr. Popular. It’s definitely weird.

And the biggest drawback? Going from high school zero to basketball hero cost Dan the secret girl of his dorky dreams.

A band geek with an eclectic fashion sense, Zelda Potts’s “coolness” stat is about minus forty-two. Dan turning his back on her and the rest of nerd-dom was brutal enough, but when he humiliates her at school, Zelda decides it’s time for a little revenge—dork style. Never mind that she used to have a crush on him. Never mind that her plan could backfire big time.

It’s time to roll the dice…and hope like freakin’ hell she doesn’t lose her heart in the process.

PicsArt_1443945753901

I had pretty high expectations for this book and I have been wanting to read it since I saw it on Goodreads. Although I enjoyed the ride but it was a bit of a disappointment as well as it didn’t live upto my expectations.

Dan used to be a nerd but after his growth spurt and his skills to play basketball, upped him into the popular crowd but he regrets all of it, especially because he thinks he has lost the one dorky girl he likes i.e. Zelda. Zelda used to have a crush on Dan, she feels betrayed after a certain incident and she finally decides it’s time for a little revenge. But how can her plan be successful when she finds herself falling for Dan all over again?

I love this kind of storyline, it’s one of my absolute favourites. But I felt one major factor was missing due to which I couldn’t enjoy this book entirely. Dan used to be a high school nerd but now he’s Mr. Popular and he doesn’t participate in the usual activities, like LARP-ing as he used to do. Zelda feels that the Dan has completely changed but little did she know the reason behind it. I was pretty exited about the revenge plot and it was indeed filled with geekiness which I absolutely loved. But I wanted to see the actual romance between Dan and Zelda which we rarely got to see, so that was a major setback for me.

I pretty much liked all the characters. Zelda is a no nonsense kind of girl and proud of being a geek. I understood where Dan was coming from and why he took himself out of the stuff he actually liked doing and I absolutely loved it when he stood up for himself and how he handled the situation. We get to see the characters from the previous book as well, although I haven’t read it but I liked them nonetheless. Dan’s sister was pretty much awsome!

Overall, Romancing the Nerd was a good read. Although the plot was clichéd, I liked how it flowed out but I really would have liked this book more if it had some actual romance in it. I think it kinds of defeats the purpose of the title. Nonetheless, the writing was smooth and easy to read and the pace was even throughout the book. I easily finished this book in a few sittings.

Recommend it?

Yes.

So… how many of you are exited about this book? Although both of the books in this series can be read as a standalone but still, have you read the previous book yet? If yes, then what did you think about it? Share your thoughts with me!

Kris is aided by Nathan, the mysterious man that ends up being anything but angelic when he rescues her for the fourth time in fourteen years. Even if the handsome hero illusion is shattered by his harsh treatment of her, he knows how to fight this strange enemy and is determined to keep her safe at all costs.

As the body count rises in their wake, Nathan introduces Kris to a world in which not everyone is human and the battle lines between good and evil are clearly drawn. Kris’s piece in the puzzle is something neither is aware of and, as they uncover the truth, neither is prepared for what they find. Overcoming twists and revelations that shatter both of their lives, they discover that nothing is as it seems and nothing, least of all their hearts, are safe.

I really wanted to like this book because the blurb really intrigued me but unfortunately I didn’t love it as much I thought I would. But that doesn’t mean I absolutely hated it because it had quite a few interesting aspects and I did enjoy reading this book.

Kris was living a pretty normal life until one day she was suddenly attacked and then she had to flee with a complete stranger. But this stranger was not at all a strange to her, she realises this person is not just someone she sees in her dreams, but is an actual person who saved her life a couple of times when she was in dire need. She is thrown into a completely new world which she didn’t know existed and there are people who are trying to kill her. And when she finally gets to learn the shocking truth about herself, what decesion will she take?

This book was pretty good and I quite enjoyed it but it the plot was nothing new. It was the same- girl learning she’s not living in a world she knows, meeting two gorgeous guys who undoubtedly fall for her and her decision what she wants to do with her life. Frankly, this book was quite predictable. Nonetheless, I liked how the concept of Greek mythology was fused in this book. I also like the concept of Kala and Skotadi, the former being the good and the later evil and how in some cases they didn’t have the power to choose which team they wanted.

Kris was an okay protagonist. She was smart and strong but I couldn’t connect with any the characters much. I just didn’t care. 😦 Nathan was the mysterious guy who had been keeping track of Kris for a really long time and is the knight in shining armour for Kris. But when Kris was clearly, already into the supernatural mess, I don’t know why he took such a long time to explain everything to her. Also I didn’t understand why he didn’t want to act upon his feelings when it was clearly mutual. *sighs* I don’t understand this guy. He was making everything complicated by choice. Alec was a funny guy, I liked his sense of humour. Though I’m still not 100% certain what to feel about him. It’s pretty much clear that there’s a love triangle, although it was not much emphasised in this book. But I certainly loved Callie, Kris’s best friend, she was definitely my favourite character. I loved her loyalty and love for Kris and how she didn’t give up on her when she went missing.

Overall, Ignited was an okay read for me. The plot was predictable and I couldn’t connect with the characters much but nonetheless I enjoyed quite a few aspects of this book. The writing was simple and sometimes witty and it was fast paced throughout the book. I do want to know what happened next but I’m not in a hurry to do so.

Recommend it?

Maybe. If you like love triangles, you should give it a try.

Blurb (from Goodreads):

Clementine Daly knows she’s the black sheep. Her wealthy, powerful family has watched her very closely since she almost got caught in an embarrassing scandal a few years ago. So when Clementine’s sent on a mission to live up to the Daly name, politely declining isn’t even an option. Of course, the last thing Clementine does before departure is grab a stranger’s phone by mistake— leaving the hunky journalist with her phone. Soon his sexy voice is on the line, but he doesn’t know her real name, or her famous pedigree— which is just the way Clementine likes it.

Despite all the hassles, Justin Mueller is intrigued to realize that the beautiful brown-eyed girl he met at the airport is suddenly at his fingertips. They agree to exchange phones when they’re both back in town, but after a week of flirty texts and wonderfully intimate conversations, Justin doesn’t want to let her go that easy. The only problem? It turns out that Clemetine has been lying to him about, well, everything. Except for the one thing two people can’t fake, the only thing that matters: The heat between them is for real.

Call Me, Maybe was a fun and light hearted read. I enjoyed reading this book but it had some things which frustrated the hell out of me as well.

While accompanying her brother for a work, Clementine’s phone switches up at the airport with a handsome stranger, coincidentally with the one she stumbled upon earlier in the airport. They decide to exchange their phones when they return to town. But till then, they can’t stop talking with each other and it quickly escalates into something more. But Clementine’s hiding a big secret- her actual identity from him and to supress one lie she keeps on telling another. But when the truth comes out, will Justin give her a second chance or will it destroy everything they had?

The blurb seemed quite interesting and that’s why I didn’t hesitate to accept this book when Loveswept’s message popped into my email. So, the plot was definitely interesting, Clementine and Justin found a connection with each other due to their little incident. I liked Justin’s sense of humour and that’s what appealed to Clementine as well. Both of them couldn’t stop talking with each other and they decided to continue their “relationship” when they finally met as well. But Clementine is quite loaded, i.e. she is freaking rich, she hides this truth from him because of some previous mistake and also she didn’t want to think of her differently. It was okay at the beginning but she kept on repeating her mistakes and telling lies upon lies to cover the previous ones. It was seriously frustrating, she clearly knew what the outcome would be if Justin learned the truth but she kept doing it. Rule number one in any relationship- a relationship is not possible if it’s based on lies and she seemed to be doing that only.

But nonetheless, their relationship was really sweet and I enjoyed the chemistry between them. But I think it moved a bit too fast, specially with the “L” word. Clementine’s relationship with her grandparents was a bit bitter and tight. I could totally understand where she was coming from but Justin was really sweet and he proved that he was worthy but still she kept on her false charade. Because of this I couldn’t totally connect with her character. When things blew up, I didn’t think anything was possible, she even herself admitted that she wouldn’t have forgiven him if he had done this to her. But nonetheless, I was somewhat satisfied because it ended on a positive note.

Overall, Call Me, Maybe was an interesting read, whereas the plot was executed neatly, I had difficulty in connecting with the character but nonetheless I enjoyed the romance between Justin and Clementine. It was fast paced and the writing was simple and easy to read. Despite having quite a few flaws I ended up enjoying this book.
