Life Updates:

Woah. The number of books I usually read and reviewed is certainly decreasing. 😦

Sorry guys, but I think this is how it is going to be from now onwards because of my schedule. Due to this, I have been mostly scheduling all my blog posts which is tremendously helping. 80% posts of this month were scheduled. I hope you guys will still stay by my side. ❤

This month was messy. I felt like I was back to square one but I am trying to push through. But due to all these, the things that I actually love doing like writing is suffering. Though I plan to participate in Camp NaNoWriMo next month because I need a serious push and Camp has always helped me find back my motivation, so hopefully it’ll be the same this time. *fingers crossed*

This month I bought Ready Player One by Ernest Cline, The Empress by S J Kincaid, Landline by Rainbow Rowell and To Kill a Kingdom by Alexandra Christo. I am pretty much excited to read all the books and I have already finished with Ready Player One because I wanted to finish this before the movie came out! And I am pretty much excited to read all the other books as well but especially To Kill a Kingdom since I have heard nothing but good things about this book!

So guys, how was your March? How many books did you manage to read? Which was your favourite read this month? Anyone participating in Camp NaNoWriMo next month?

Daydreaming Discussions: Books I Need to Finish This Year! || Part 2 || Because Part 1 wasn’t enough!! xD

Hey there guys! Welcome to Daydreaming Discussions. This is a monthly feature created by me where I discuss anything bookish related or sometimes it might be about any non-bookish things as well. Also, be prepared for a lot of ramblings and rantings and you’re very welcome to be a part of the discussion.

Today I wanted to talk about-

Aaaaaaaaaaaaand it’s a Part 2!!! Can you guys imagine how far behind I am?! I mean, I deleted a lot of books from my tbr, around 300 I guess which I wasn’t interested in reading anymore but these I couldn’t and I intend to finish it within this year!!

11. Wintersong by S. Jae-Jones- The cover is the first thing that dragged me in. Although there are a lot of mixed reviews about this duology, I’m definitely going to pick this one up and if I end up enjoying it, then I’ll proceed to the next book!

12. The Diabolic and The Empress by S.J. Kincaid- Book 3 is supposed to be published in the fall I think, soooo before that, I want to binge read these two!

13. Passenger by Alexandra Bracken- I am torn about this one, I have mostly read negative reviews about Passenger but I already own the copy, so I want to pick it up and see for myself if book 2 is worth reading or not.

14. Cinder & Ella and Happily Ever After by Kelly Oram- Cinder & Ella would be a reread for me but I haven’t written a review for it and I remember looooving this book, so I definitely want to binge read this duology! ❤

15. When We Collided by Emery Lord- This has been sitting on my shelf for eons now. I finally need to finish this!!

16. An Ember in the Ashes and A Torch Against the Night by Sabaa Tahir- First of all, the new cover change is hideous!!! And a lot of reviews say that book 2 was a downfall for them so I will wait and read this two and see if I want to continue or not. But still, the new covers are soooo effing bad!! I don’t know why the publishers do this to us!!! Like seriously!! When will they understand!

17. Dumplin by Julie Murphy- This one too has been sitting alone in my shelf collecting dust. I think I bought this within a month of the release but I don’t know why I never picked it up. So it’s timeeee…

18. Prodigy and Champion by Marie Lu- Champion got spoiled for me.Because someone wrote a review without warning about it!! Since then I haven’t touched them but I own the whole trilogy and I kinda feel for not completing them!

19. What’s a Girl Gotta Do? by Holly Bourne- Okay! I looooove this series!! I have read the first two books of this series and they were damn awesome. Feminism, positive girl love and sooo much! I can’t wait to buy this one and devour it!

20. Daughter of Smoke & Bone trilogy by Laini Taylor- Soooo, I read the first book in 2015 and I don’t remember a single thing but I soo want to finish this trilogy!! Hopefully, I will be able to tick this off from my list as well!

Sooo guys, do we have any books in common?? Or have you already read all of these?? What do you think about it?? Which books are you looking forward to ticking off from your tbr this year??

Daydreaming Discussions: Books I Need to Finish this Year! // Part I

Sooo I am definitely guilty of not picking up these books soon. Some of them I already own and some have been in my tbr forever. But I intend to finish the books I’m going to list in this post within this year!! Whose’s with moi?!!

Let’s begin!!

1. The Bane Chronicles by Cassandra Clare- I know!! I know. I LOOOOOVE Cassandra Clare and I have read all her books except this one. And Magnus Bane (sooooorry Magnus!!) is my favourite character in the entire universe!! I already own the ebook, I’m going to start this as soon as I finish my current read!!

2. Six of Crows duology by Leigh Bardugo- I know. *sighs* Most of the bookish people have already ticked off this duology off their list. But, I now I finally have both the books and I can’t waaaait to start them!

3. A Thousand Pieces of You by Claudia Gray- I was very hyped, well pretty much everybody was when this series came out, especially because of the gorgeous cover but I don’t know why I still haven’t picked this one up despite owning a paperback. I will give this one a try this year and if I love it, then only I’ll continue with the series.

4. Chaos Walking trilogy by Patrick Ness- I bought this whole thing together I guess, or pretty near but theeeeey are HUGE and I, unfortunately, read a few negative Goodreads reviews which stopped me from picking this up but I am willing to give these a shot this year.

5. These Broken Stars by Amie Kaufman and Meagan Spooner- Again. Another gorgeous cover. I couldn’t resist. There are a looot of mixed reviews on Goodreads but I gotta read this one before I decide what to do this series.

6. Wolf by Wolf duology by Ryan Graudin- It is seriously time to pick this duology up. Otherwise Raven will have my head!! XD She has recommended this book countless times and I still haven’t started. Fear not!! I finally purchased the ebooks, now just have to read it…..

7. Ready Player One by Ernest Cline- I was actually not that interested in this one but one of my ARMY friends was pretty hyped about the movie trailer of this book and after watching it, I am definitely going to read this before going to watch the movieeeee (which will also be in 3D, sooo yaaaaay) !!

8. The Winner’s Curse and The Winner’s Crime by Marie Rutkoski- Yes. They are still collecting dust on my shelf. Can you imagine?! (You probably can…) I had pretty much given up hope for this trilogy but since I own the first two books, I was going to give these a try. And my same ARMY friend said that she loved the 1st one so it gave me hope. (J-Hooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooope!!!!)

LOL. Sorry not sorry!!

9. The Hate U Give by Angie Thomas- Yeah, don’t hit me. Somehow this book slipped by me when everybody was busy reading this one. But I legit will read it asap!! Because I need to! I want to!! And I’ve rarely heard any negative reviews about this book and it’s diverse so yup yup!! I will tick this off my list quite soon.

10. Landline and Eleanor & Park by Rainbow Rowell- I looooove Rainbow Rowell to death and these are the only two books I haven’t read by her. I already own Eleanor & Park but I need to complete my Rainbow collection this year. 🙂

Sooo guys, do we have any books in common?? Or have you already read all of these?? Which books are you looking forward to ticking off from your tbr this year??
