Fortunately, all my posts for this month were pre-scheduled, otherwise, I think it would have been totally empty! Neither did I get to blog hop but I am hoping to do so this weekend. (I have like 2k bookish emails to check!! HAAALP!!)

Anyway, now onto the bookish goodness!

Life Updates:

April was a good month guys. Yes, I didn’t get to engage in bookish activities much but hopefully, I can balance my schedule in the upcoming days. Okay, so the most exciting news is that I got a jooooooooob!! It was actually unexpected but when I got the call that I got in, it was one of the best moments in my life and working as a content writer is so fulfilling. I mean, I can’t explain the happiness I am feeling right now. I am enjoying work so much guys and I finally feel like I am something doing something worthwhile. My team members are awesome and the working environment is pretty good too. I think I definitely got lucky in my first real job. 🙂

I didn’t get to buy any books this month but I saw Ready Player One with one of my most adorable ARMY friend. Gooooodness, that movie was just soo awesome! Review of both the book and the movie is coming up next month, so stay tuned in for that! ❤

I also participated in Camp NaNoWriMo this month. Due to my schedule, I set my goal only to 15k. Right now, I have reached 10k so far but I am hoping to meet my goal by this weekend! This is the first time I am working on a diverse fantasy book called The Boy Who Touched the Moon. You can check out my Pinterest board for this novel here!! It’s off to good start, I hope I can maintain the pace as well as the essence!!

Update:

camonano

Yaaaaatie I reached my goal of 15k!!! I hope to at least write 10 to 12k each month so that I finish the draft!!

Also, I don’t think I can actively post like I used to. Maybe once or twice a week but I am not giving up on blogging. Never!

What about you guys??

So guys, how was your April? How many books did you manage to read? Which was your favourite read this month? Did you participate in Camp NaNoWriMo? If yes, how was your overall experience?

Life Updates:

Woah. The number of books I usually read and reviewed is certainly decreasing. 😦

Sorry guys, but I think this is how it is going to be from now onwards because of my schedule. Due to this, I have been mostly scheduling all my blog posts which is tremendously helping. 80% posts of this month were scheduled. I hope you guys will still stay by my side. ❤

This month was messy. I felt like I was back to square one but I am trying to push through. But due to all these, the things that I actually love doing like writing is suffering. Though I plan to participate in Camp NaNoWriMo next month because I need a serious push and Camp has always helped me find back my motivation, so hopefully it’ll be the same this time. *fingers crossed*

This month I bought Ready Player One by Ernest Cline, The Empress by S J Kincaid, Landline by Rainbow Rowell and To Kill a Kingdom by Alexandra Christo. I am pretty much excited to read all the books and I have already finished with Ready Player One because I wanted to finish this before the movie came out! And I am pretty much excited to read all the other books as well but especially To Kill a Kingdom since I have heard nothing but good things about this book!

So guys, how was your March? How many books did you manage to read? Which was your favourite read this month? Anyone participating in Camp NaNoWriMo next month?

In January, the only thing I guess I did was study. Everybody was surprised. I even surprised myself by the amount of studying I did in 3 weeks!! 😂😂😂 Anyways, I hope the results are not that bad!!

February was awesome!! Because of book fair!! Ta daaaa!! I look forward to this book fair the whole year and this year I was doubly excited because I was going with my fellow ARMYs!!! Yes, it was an absolute blast, we had so much fun together. 😀 Health wise, I’m getting better too. I’m finally trying and I really hope I can keep this up but my anxiety problems are still going over the roof! HAALP!

Sooooo, this month was a cyclone of emotions actually. A loooot happened. But but but that one day was sooo worth it. We, BTS ARMYs of West Bengal originally planned a celebration for TaeJin’s birthday. But we lost Jonghyun. So the celebration was cancelled but we friends met up and had a good time together. But there was a looot of drama involved. But despite everything I loved that I got to spend time with my new family. Also, that was the first time I didn’t feel socially awkward because it already felt I knew them for ages. Love you ARMYS. ❤ It was one of the best days in my life.

I also, finally, like freaking finally got Gemina by Amie Kaufman & Jay Kristoff!!! Like finaaaaally!

Life Updates:

Well, November was an okay month. But better than October. Definitely better. I’m trying to organise my life so that I can fit my priorities into my daily schedule. It’s kinda still a little messy. Okay, a lot but I’m trying.

Soooo, just one month left for this year to be over and honestly, I can’t wait. This year has been the crappiest year of my life and I really hope 2018 turns out for the better.

I went to see Justice League with my brother and we looooooved it!! ❤ Also, I watched quite a few awesome K-Dramas as well. Temperature of Love was well… just awesome but it crash-landed a bit in the middle, anyway, I don’t regret watching it, in fact, this will definitely be on my re-watch list. Currently, I’m watching While You Were Sleeping and it’s soooo damn good! Like seriously! Epically good!

Also, I’m super proud that I managed to restrain myself from buying any books this month!! 😀

So guys, how did November treat you? Was it bookishly awesome or just meh? Which book was your favourite this month? Mine was definitely Godsgrave!

Monthly Wrap-Up: August 2017!

Hey, guys! How are you all doing?

I didn’t read quite as many books as I usually do but it was a good reading month though a rather slow one. I also had planned two more review posts but I didn’t quite feel like writing it. Scheduling really helped me in July and I wish I had done it in this month as well. Hopefully next month! Anyway, let’s jump into today’s post, shall we?

Life Updates:

Well, August was another unproductive month for me. It seems like I’m stepping ahead one step and going back two. It’s really frustrating. And I’m not even trying. 😦 I can’t seem to focus on anything but I really need to try.

On the other hand, the only productive thing in this month was the Scribbler Challenge where working on the prompts were pretty fun. I’m kinda sad it’s coming to an end with only one prompt to finish. Another thing that came out of this challenge was it did give me a new story idea. So yay! Oh, and I can’t forget I finally got into K-pop this month, more specifically BTS! I had actually listened to Blood, Sweat and Tears when it came out but I hadn’t given it much thought so when my friend out of the blue started talking about the BTS nonstop, I either had to change my seat or join the cult! XD So I decided to check it out first and now my day starts with their songs and ends with them. ❤ I’m sooo in love!

Anyway! I bought This Savage Song and Our Dark Duet by Victoria Schwab this month. Also, my package of Crooked Kingdom by Leigh Bardugo finally arrived! Though I can’t wait to read Godsgrave and Wonder Woman next month!!

So guys, how was your August? Did we have any book in common? What are your plans for September? Are you looking forward to any particular book?

Monthly Wrap Up: June 2017!

Hey, guys! How are you all doing?

It seems like another month has passed in a blur. But altogether, it wasn’t a bad month. Also, unlike the other months, I have read fewer books this month but most of them were pretty, pretty good! So, without further ado…

Life Updates:

Sooo, life has been… well lifey? My leg’s giving me trouble again and it’s hurting me for every step I take. But on the other hand, I’m been able to concentrate on other things. I have been kind of bullet-journalling and it’s helping me to maintain my goal for each day. This is something which has never worked for me before but surprisingly I was out of the dark pit this month and met my goals mostly for every day. So, I’ve been thinking of giving bullet-journalling a full on try for one month and if it works, I’ll keep up the habit.

My copy of Lord of Shadows by Cassandra Clare finally arrived in the first week of this month and I devoured it. I also purchased Golden Son and Morning Star by Pierce Brown this month and I hope to start this series pretty soon!

Mini-announcement:

I didn’t get an ounce of writing this month. I badly wanted to but time management is still kinda a little problem. So, I wanted to ask, has anybody been facing this kind of problem too? And also, would anybody want to partner up? Like, keep each other motivated through any medium like emails and stuff, so that we could keep going?

So guys, how was your month? Was it bookishly great or just meh? What was your favourite read this month? Or any favourite blog post?
